Established by the American Sephardi Federation, the Broome and Allen Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students of Sephardic descent who are focusing their college education on Sephardic studies. High school seniors, college undergraduates, college graduate students, and those working on research projects are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Candidates are not required to be citizens of the United States, but they must be completing all of their studies in the U.S.
The Charles & Lucille King Family Foundation undergraduate scholarships of up to $3,500 per academic year are awarded to juniors and seniors studying television and film production at accredited 4-year, degree-granting U.S. colleges and universities. Applications and all support materials must be received no later than March 15 for the following academic year.
Applicant must be an incoming freshman or current, full-time undergraduate at a four-year college or university, have parent or self currently or formerly employed at an Asian-owned or Asian cuisine restaurant, demonstrate community advocacy and social justice work on behalf of Asian American, immigrant, gay and lesbian and/or other progressive causes, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have financial need. No citizenship status requirement.

The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund aids people active in movements for social and economic justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded to students who are able to do academic work at the college or university level and who are active in the progressive movement. Early recipients worked for civil rights, against McCarthyism and for peace in Vietnam. Recent grantees have been active in the struggle against racism, sexism, homophobia and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international anti-imperialist solidarity. Applicants must have participated in activities in the US, and there is a strong preference for applicants who plan on working in this country.
Applicant must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an accredited U.S college or university and submit an essay regarding their opinions of the benefits or drawbacks of driverless vehicles on the economy and society at large.

The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $16,500 for an associate degree and $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree. The two partner colleges in Colorado are MSU Denver and the Community College of Denver. Please note that some Scholars may be eligible for an additional stipend of up to $5,000 (or $1,000 per year) for books, supplies, and transportation. The award is renewable each year – you simply have to meet the continuing eligibility criteria.
For high school graduates who live in targeted, locked-out states that do not offer in-state tuition to DREAMers – or bar you from attending state colleges and universities altogether. (In other words, the Opportunity Scholarship is NOT available in Colorado.) You need to have DACA or TPS status and be admitted to one of the Opportunity Partner Colleges to receive this scholarship. The Scholarship is for up to $80,000 to cover tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals for a bachelor’s degree.

The Dwayne Graves Online Entrepreneur Spirit Scholarship is a highly competitive award for high school and college students interested in entrepreneurship. Studying in the fields of Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or IT are recommended but not required. Show us the spirit that will help you succeed in creating a winning video! Show us the spirit that will help you succeed in life! This is a $500 scholarship and is awarded on December 20th of each year.
The contest is open to registered undergraduate full-time Juniors or Seniors at accredited four-year colleges or universities in the United States during the Fall Semester. The essay must be the original, unpublished work of one student. Only one essay per student per year may be submitted.
In order to be considered as an applicant for the eRowz scholarship, students should be attending, or about to attend a college or university course. In addition, they should have completed at least 15 credit hours in their area of learning. Students can be supported at degree, masters or Ph.D. level, and all major specialisms are acceptable. To narrow down the selection process, eRowz will examine the contributions a student has already made to their field of study, look at their extra curricula achievements and finally, ask each applicant to write an essay. In this reflective piece, applicants should provide an explanation for their interest in the topic, and suggest ways their work can be used to create practical real world solutions.

This scholarship is for students who are or have been in foster care, or who are orphans. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been in public or private foster care for a minimum of 12 consecutive months at the time of their 18th birthday; OR have been adopted or placed into legal guardianship from foster care after their 16th birthday; OR they must have been orphaned for at least one year at the time of their 18th birthday. Applicants must have been accepted into or expect to be accepted into an accredited, Pell-eligible college or other post-secondary school. Applicants must be under the age of 25 on March 31 of the year in which they first apply. Applicants must have been in foster care or orphaned while living in the United States; however, US citizenship is not required. Applications open January 15th.

The Scholarship Program is open to all full-time undergraduate students who are entering their Junior or Senior Year of their undergraduate study in the Fall. If the student is in a program that is not a 4-year program, they are eligible if they will be entering either their final year of undergraduate study or their second-to-last year of undergraduate study in the Fall of 2014. Additionally, students must be enrolled in an accredited institution in a program of study that prepares them for a career in health care. Examples of qualifying degree programs include, but are not limited to pre-medicine, nursing, public/community health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, biology, chemistry, psychology, social work, dentistry, and optometry. Students eligible to be considered for the award must demonstrate financial need. Financial need will be determined using information provided by the school’s Financial Aid office on the form provided in the scholarship application materials. Students must also meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards set by their institution and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).

Applicant must plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in spring, intend to enroll in an accredited 4-year college beginning in the fall, earn a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above, SAT combined math and critical reading score of 1200 or above and/or ACT composite score of 26 or above, and demonstrate significant unmet financial need. Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who have greater than average financial need. Consideration is given to conditions or experiences that render the student disadvantaged (poor high school/undergraduate preparation, due to poverty, etc.) Applicants should be planning a career in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field and be enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university located in the United States, but need not be U.S. citizens.
Our $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one college student who has battled leukemia or whose life has been affected by it.

Hispanic undergraduate applicants who have a cumulative GPA of 2.80 out of a 4.0 GPA scale. No GPA mentioned for graduate applicants. Microsoft awards tuition scholarships and conference scholarships each year to encourage students to pursue studies in Computer Science and related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines. Recipients for both scholarships will be awarded in recognition of their demonstrated passion for technology, academic excellence, and leadership while working to push the software industry forward.
This scholarship is not a traditional scholarship focused on rewarding academic achievement and financial need. Its specific goal is to reward and encourage innovative and creative problem solving. The scholarship aims to honor students who excel as creative problem-solvers and to help make their higher education goals more accessible.

To be eligible for the Music Skanner Scholarship, each applicant must be an undergraduate student or high school student transitioning to college, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, attending a post secondary, accredited institution or planning to attend, plan to attend school for entire academic year (beginning in the fall, 12 credit hours per quarter), completed 20 hours of “active” community service within past 12-months with certified documentation, and have leadership involvement.

In addition to a demonstrated passion for community engagement and a full commitment to the Puksta Scholars Program, an applicant must also: Be a full-time student (defined as at least 12 credit hours per semester). A full tuition scholarship for a woman seeking an undergraduate degree in science, engineering, or math, funded by Cards Against Humanity. The winner of the Science Ambassador Scholarship will receive full tuition coverage for up to four years.
